Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 5, 2026
BFFR only works if everyone keeps it real and keeps it safe. These guidelines exist to protect honest feedback and the people sharing it. Break them, and you may lose access.
Be real, but don’t be cruel
Honest feedback is the whole point. Keep it real without tearing people down. There’s a difference between honest and mean.
No harassment
Do not bully, target, dogpile, or repeatedly bother anyone. Disagree with the take, not the person.
No hate speech
No content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristic.
No sexual content involving minors
Absolutely zero tolerance. Any sexual content involving minors is banned and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
No threats
No threats of violence, intimidation, or content that encourages self-harm or harm to others.
No illegal activity
Don’t use BFFR to promote, organize, or facilitate anything illegal, including the sale of illegal goods or services.
No spam
No spam, scams, fake engagement, or repetitive self-promotion. Keep the feed real.
No impersonation
Don’t pretend to be someone else — another person, a brand, or an organization — in a way that’s meant to deceive.
Report harmful content
If you see something that breaks these rules, report it. Use the report tools in the app, or email us at support@bffr.social. Reports help us keep BFFR honest and safe for everyone.
Enforcement
BFFR can remove content or accounts at any time for violating these guidelines or our Terms of Service. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, remove content, restrict features, or permanently ban an account.
We report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law. Other serious violations may also be referred to the appropriate authorities.
